Kahu Malama Award Dinner and Silent Auction 2026

The Kahu Mālama Award recognizes an individual or entity that has demonstrated extraordinary contributions to Gregory House Programs or the HIV/AIDS community through advocacy, financial support, or other means. We are excited to announce the recipient of the 2026 Kahu Mālama award is Veronica Gail Kawananakoa. Veronica has been a supporter and advocate for GHP and our programs, and we are honored to recognize her and the impact she has had on our community. This fundraiser will help provide housing, case management, and food needs for over 400 individuals facing homelessness in 2027.

Gregory House Programs, a 501(c)3 nonprofit, is the only provider of HIV/AIDS housing services statewide, and provides case management and nutrition services on Oahu to people living with HIV and their families each year. Our programs help improve the quality of life and well-being for our community’s most vulnerable and economically challenged members and in the long run improve the public health of our community. Housing is especially essential for persons living with HIV/AIDS as it keeps the door open to continuous medical care and life-extending treatments.
